Description

I'm waking up to ash and dust
I wipe my brow and I sweat my rust
I'm breathing in the chemicals

I'm breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse
Whoa

I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive, radioactive

I raise my flags, don my clothes
It's a revolution, I suppose
We're painted red to fit right in
Whoa

I'm breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse
Whoa

I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive, radioactive

All systems go, the sun hasn't died
Deep in my bones, straight from inside

I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive, radioactive

Okay so I already submitted this but I had a couple issues.
This is based of this above song. I've been listening to it and I just got inspired.
The grey stuff is ash just in case you couldn't tell.

I used this brush set for grass: [link]

I'm here on behalf of because your piece was in the group's critique requested folder.
--------------------------------
And... it's a requirement, so please bear with me, for I am really not sure how to criticize.
--------------------------------
So here, I would really like to say that your drawing is really not bad, but it really does need a lot of cleaning in it. So, to make things easier for you, I shall elaborate what is/are the thing/s that need to be cleaned.

First, I would like to point out the most visible - the "extra" lines.
When I say "extra" - it means that there are lines in your drawing that aren't really needed, and it's really best to remove them. For example, I would really like to point out those pencil marks (or sketch marks). They really stand out (but not in a good way). Like they actually make your drawing look messy. I know it's really hard (if you are a mouse user and such), but it would really do you a greater favor if you try to at least draw without them. It does take a while to get used to, but it would really give you a better reward.

Your shading (a.k.a values since "shading" is actually considered a wrong term). I would really like to emphasize them because, I'm not really sure if you know, but values (not going to use shading) actually make things more presentable. So, in this case, I would really like it if you actually shade base on your light source. When I say light source, it means "to wherever the light is coming from." So, basing on your illustration, I can't really identify where is the light source. You know, it is really not right if you just shade wherever you please (unless you're bored) since it would really do nothing but make your drawings look boring (sorry about the word) and dingy. So, you basically need to work on that one.

Your proportions. I can't really say how you should improve it, but my instinct tells me that you need to work on her nose. (and her eyes and body). And by the way, I suggest that you put a collarbone (on her upper bust) to make your drawing not look flat.

So, I guess that's it? I hope you don't take this critique personally, I just really want to help out. :]
